I have extensive business experience, ranging from the United Nations, foreign exchange trading and portfolio management to being a university business lecturer. This real world experience provides me with the resources to develop a Business program that will meet each individual student’s specific needs. My previous teaching has involved a substantial amount of work with international students at different levels. I strongly appreciate the need for teaching excellence to involve high standards not only relating to content, but also in the method of presentation. I prefer to make classes interactive and student centred to enhance the students’ experience.

Hobbies
My family is my primary hobby. My 14 year old son, Jett, is studying Ancient History at Macquarie University (Australia), though he lives with me in Beijing. The university provides its lecturers via the internet and Jett submits his class work and assignments online. I enjoy playing sport, though no longer competitively. I assist Jett with his rugby training. I really enjoy reading about history and watch ing historical documentaries.
